one time my friend invited me to play with his iway group cause a few good people were playing (i'll spare the names, not looking to embarrass anyone.. i'll just say some players with nice shiny capes) and they needed 1 last war. i was like ok i'll give it a shot, wasn't looking to get anywhere with it but last time i had played iway was like over a year ago, so i went. long story short, we got a full run and held halls 7 times lololol. that was actually a lot of fun.

oh or how about this one, i was in courtyard on my monk during a full fame run, about 20 fame from r9, when i got dc'd right as the match started and got a 3 day ban. lo0l.

My first encounter with an eoe bomb, my instict told me to get out of range of the spirits.. a few seconds later out of the 16 players only I and an enemy were left, I ressed up and we won ^^

I was calling strat. No one seemed to be listening. In fact everyone seemed to be just running around without a clue. After a while, someone else began calling over my strat. I'm freaking out and cursing out my whole team. They still don't respond to my calls.
Eventually, I get a pm asking why I haven't been saying anything on vent. Apparently, my mic cable came loose. =}~

In old halls, countless games of swapping to beast mastery helm for courtyard for fertile then trying to call spikes in halls and wondering why my bow does 5 damage, sometimes for the entire match.

Not me, but when we were holding for like 28 with dual seeking+practiced and another team capped instantly, then our ranger(dryder) pinged our own ghostly hero yelling "WHY CANT I USE SAVAGE SHOT" on vent

After 3 hall runs where our rit errors out and we're stuck with a fighter hench and lose in halls, we boot him and sold his spot for 3k per fame.

Bringing sig devo instead of blessed signet on a bonder(who hasnt done it lol)

Equipping a halls drop on my warrior to see what it looks like and proceeding to unknowingly use it for the following match

Probably all time stupidest moment in HA was deers 2 para holding build after the release of nightfall in 6 man tombs. We had 2 paras with full motivation and command spec (0 spear mastery, wtf was a paragon back then anyway), 2 full monks, a full warder with 3 wards, 2 monk skills, gale and aftershock, and a tactics W/N with bip, watch yourself, and healing signet. The only offense we had in the entire build was a gale+aftershock on the earth ele, and a dismember, agonizing, critical chop on our warrior. We would attempt to kill people by hoping the other monk wasnt paying attention, galing one monk and then aftershock+everyone wanding the monk until it died. Every match took over 30 minutes, we either had to run them out of sigs on the one monk over an extremely long period of time or just bore them out of the game. After 15-20 minutes of us not being able to get a kill we would gale their group leader then surround him in a 6 man bodyblock and then just sit there without him being able to move, in hopes that he would just get frustrated and resign. This again would take an extremely long time, and usually me and the other monk took shifts of one going afk at a time to get food or play another game. It was probably the most retarded build ever but we made 2400 fame out of it in a matter of 3 days so it was worth it i think ^^

well i can only cite recent events, here are a few:

i saw prince rurik way last HA x2 wknd. it was a super coordinated grp of players named ____ rurik etc, all with FDS, firestorm and other joke skills. they warrior trained on one target like pros and fought bravely till they fell.

to OP, i went in with a sort of randomway with 2 heros with no runes, an e/rt with no skills and 1 monk (me) and we beat a bunch of teams. we did have 2 phoenixes in the grp tho

i also like going in with 2 prots, or 2 infuse. that always makes for a tough match.

and most recently, a few friends and i beat IWAY with 8 junk touch rangers

Me and my friend joined some r9+ group just for kicks running SOD and WoH with no condition or hex removal, we got 4 consec. skipped to halls and won on cap points, after we won ironically "The World Gained Favor" and we just said, "sorry gotta go farm" and just left them after chest spawned.

I also get rezzed after dying and got bullsed half a second later before getting spiked by both wars while my team was falling back (getting ganked).

Saw a r12+ group running a similar version (a little more modded) but they beat the team I was in for fun. r0 r-spike that I formed together lol. I told people to d-shot the monk skills and they skpt on the FC mesmer

Why do you people feel that losing by bad mistakes = you're getting ganked auto?

He's saying that his team was pulling back because of being ganked, not that he died because they were getting ganked.

Maybe I don't know the full story I'm just saying people cry way too much because they think they're getting ganked when really they're not they're just being outplayed. I don't even know how many times, because it's happened so much, on cap points we'll split 3 people to another base and that team will shed tears about how we're "ganking" them. HA is a joke nowadays with so many people just using a word as a scapegoat because they can't win/keep winning.
